Chicago Office Administrator Profiled in the Association of Legal Administrators News

Chicago Office Administrator Jimmy Antonopoulos was profiled in the January 2010 issue of ALA News, the bimonthly magazine published by the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA), which is distributed to approximately 10,000 of its members worldwide.  Mr. Antonopoulos became a member of ALA in 2009.

Mr. Antonopoulos joined Gordon & Rees in 2008 and has over 5 years of experience in the legal profession, including a background in paralegal work, which gives him a great sense of understanding and appreciation for his staff.  As Mr. Antonopoulos stated in the article, legal secretaries and paralegals  "serve an integral part of making a firm run smoothly.  These unsung heroes in a billable world are the ones that keep attorneys on track-which allows them to keep clients happy." He also knows the importance of encouraging and motivating his staff. " I try to treat people the way I would like to be treated. I motivate my staff by forming a connection with each one of them and being open to their ideas and concerns", says Antonopoulos.
