On April 30, the San Francisco Business Times announced its annual list of the 125 "Best Places to Work" in the Bay Area and Gordon & Rees's San Francisco office received its sixth consecutive recognition. Among businesses with 101-500 employees, Gordon & Rees ranked 23rd out of 50 and was among the top four of all law firms in the category.
This year's rankings covered nominations from 354 companies in 12 counties around the greater Bay Area. Approximately 147,260 employees received surveys and each company's score was based entirely on its employees' responses to 37 multiple-choice questions in the following topics: team effectiveness, alignment of goals, trust with coworkers, individual contribution, manager effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, work engagement and people practices.
