Gordon & Rees continued its move up the California 50, rising to #14 on the annual list of the state's largest law firms compiled by California Lawyer. In its assessment of the legal industry, California Lawyer noted that the average number of lawyers in the state's 50 biggest firms increased by 1.5 percent in the past year.
In addition to increasing its attorney numbers in California, Gordon & Rees's national numbers increased as well in 2011, as the firm added attorneys in multiple cities and opened three new offices in Austin, Atlanta and Hartford.
