Gordon & Rees's continued national growth has been marked by the firm's rise to #155 on the 2011 AmLaw 200 list of the largest law firms in the U.S. Compiled annually by The American Lawyer, the list has tracked Gordon & Rees's consistent expansion since 2005 when the firm first appeared on the list at #176. Gordon & Rees holds a prominent growth position among the group of law firms known as the "Second Hundred" in the AmLaw 200 rankings.
The 2011 report is titled "A Rebuilding Year" and notes that AmLaw 200 firms experienced an average increase of 2.2 percent in gross revenue compared to a 4 percent average increase among the AmLaw 100 firms. Gordon & Rees is proud to have achieved an increase of 4.8%, becoming one of the few AmLaw 200 firms that beat the average growth rates of both the AmLaw 200 and AmLaw 100 firms.
