Ari Shapiro has joined Gordon & Rees's Miami office as Partner. Mr. Shapiro is a member of the firm's Insurance, Tort & Product Liability and Commercial Litigation Practice groups.
Mr. Shapiro's clients include insurance companies, financial institutions, and automobile and other product manufacturers. He has experience handling a broad range of complex litigation in state and federal courts, including insurance disputes (coverage and bad faith), asbestos, civil theft and conversion, personal injury and wrongful death, product liability, commercial litigation, motor vehicle crashworthiness, and professional liability matters. He handles all phases of litigation including discovery, depositions, trial strategy, hearings, mediations and arbitrations.
He is a member of the Board of Directors for Community Smiles, a non-profit organization dedicated to oral health education and improving access to dental care for underserved families and children throughout Miami-Dade County.
Mr. Shapiro earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law.
