Ken Morris Joins Gordon & Rees as Of Counsel In Environmental/Toxic Tort Practice

Ken Morris has joined Gordon & Rees as of counsel in the Environmental/Toxic Tort Practice's Agricultural Chemicals & Pesticides Group and will be affiliated with the firm's New Jersey office. He brings more than 30 years of transactional, regulatory, environmental, and litigation experience to the firm with an emphasis on agrichemical and specialty chemical law.

Mr. Morris was corporate counsel at Bayer CropScience and general counsel to its predecessor companies for 24 years before retiring from Bayer and launching his own firm in 2005. He is a member of the Law Committee of Crop Life America and RISE (Responsible Industry for a Sound Environment) and has served as an adjunct professor of law at Carnegie Mellon University’s Graduate School of Industrial Administration and as an arbitrator and mediator. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia.

"The addition of Ken Morris to the firm expands our capabilities and broadens the geographic coverage of our services to the crop protection and specialty chemical industries," explained Gery Zacher, chairman of the AgChem Group. "Ken's wealth of regulatory, transactional and environmental experience is a perfect complement to and will strengthen our national practice. His decades of work within the business community will be an invaluable asset to our growing roster of clients, some of which are among the largest and most innovative companies in these industries."
