New York Partner Mercedes Colwin Moderates EPLI Panel Series

Gordon & Rees New York office managing partner Mercedes Colwin served as Co-Chair for the American Conference Institute’s 19th National Employment Practices Liability Insurance Conference, held June 24-25 in San Francisco. In addition, Ms. Colwin gave the opening remarks at the conference and moderated several panel discussions, which covered key information for brokers, carriers and in-house labor and employment counsel.

Speakers from all over the nation attended the two-day event to discuss managing and defending against the increasing number of claims filed; taking advantage of new opportunities in the EPLI market; minimizing exposure to risk; tackling the rising costs of litigation; and preparing for aggressive new NLRB and EEOC initiatives and enforcement plans.
