The Daily Journal has named San Francisco partner Mike Laurenson to its 2015 list of the Top 75 Labor & Employment attorneys in California. The editors reviewed hundreds of nominations, then selected 75 leading attorneys whose work has had a broad impact on the legal community, the nation and society. The list was comprised of both plaintiff and defense attorneys.
Laurenson’s profile in the publication showcased his unanimous defense verdict, Harnett v. Forensic Analytical Sciences. Earlier this year, his verdict was also selected as one of the Top Verdicts in California in 2014.
Laurenson represents public and private entities in employment matters in federal and state court, with a focus on wrongful termination, retaliation and discrimination claims. He has successfully tried numerous cases before judges and juries and argued appellate matters in state and federal court. Laurenson also advises and trains employers on compliance with state and federal employment laws.
