Gordon & Rees Welcomes Fifteen New Attorneys in June 2019

In June, Gordon & Rees welcomed fifteen new attorneys to our Dallas, Denver, Louisville, Nashville, Oakland, Phoenix, Portland, San Diego, San Francisco, and Seattle offices. They join us as members of the Commercial Litigation, Construction, Employment Law, Environmental/Toxic Tort, Health Care, and Product & General Liability Practice Groups.

Brent Buyse, Associate
Dallas, Commercial Litigation / Employment Law

Brent joins the Dallas office as a member of the Commercial Litigation and Employment Law practice groups. Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, Brent’s practice was dedicated to protecting the interest of his clients and their family in domestic matters. He has been successful in both the courtroom and in mediations. Brent earned his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law and his B.S. from Belmont University.


Stephanie Cobau, Associate
San Diego, Commercial Litigation

Stephanie joins the San Diego office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. She has experience in a range of complex litigation matters at both the state and federal level. Stephanie has experience representing companies, ranging in size from Fortune 500 corporations to start-ups, governmental entities, and individuals. She has represented clients in the real estate, banking, technology, and medical device sectors in litigation that included allegations of infringement, misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair competition, breach of fiduciary duty, and tortious interference. Stephanie earned her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law and her B.A. from Dartmouth College.

Phoenix, Commercial Litigation

Mary joins the Phoenix office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. Mary serves as Deputy Director of A for Arizona, an education initiative of the Arizona Chamber Foundation. Mary earned her J.D. from Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law and her B.A. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.


Rheanne Falkner, Senior Counsel
Louisville, Employment Law

Rheanne joins the Louisville office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. She is well versed in employment law matters including but not limited to: American with Disabilities Act; Age Discrimination in Employment Act; Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act; Family Medical Leave Act; Fair Labor Standards Act; the Federal Arbitration Act; Kentucky Civil Rights Act; non-compete issues and contract matters. In addition, to extensive employment law experience, Rheanne has years of experience in litigating professional malpractice, personal injury and negligence claims. Rheanne earned her J.D. from Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville and her B.A. from the University of Louisville.


Angela Hampton, Associate
San Diego, Environmental/Toxic Tort

Angela joins the San Diego office as a member of the Environmental/Toxic Tort practice group. She represents clients in a broad range of matters before state and federal courts. Angela’s practice focuses primarily on toxic tort and products liability litigation in a number of industries. Angela earned her J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law and her B.A. from Texas State University.


Wilson Lau, Associate
San Francisco, Construction

Wilson joins the San Francisco office as a member of the Construction practice group. His practice focuses on construction litigation in the defense of landowners, developers, and general contractors in a variety of construction-related personal injury matters. He has experience in all facets of alternative dispute resolutions, arbitration, and litigation. Wilson earned his J.D. from University of San Francisco School of Law and his B.A. from University of California, Davis.


Adam Linton, Of Counsel
Denver, Construction

Adam joins the Denver office as a member of the Construction practice group. His practice focuses on general representation and defending construction defect lawsuits for general contractors, subcontractors and specialty contractors, and design professionals. He has also defended general contractor and subcontractor clients involved in personal injury lawsuits. Adam earned his J.D. from The University of Tulsa College of Law and his B.A. from the University of New Mexico.


Vick Mansourian, Senior Counsel
Oakland, Environmental/Toxic Tort

Vick joins the Oakland office as a member of the Environmental/Toxic Tort practice group. He is an experienced litigator with over 22 years of business and product liability litigation experience. He has litigated and managed hundreds of cases in all phases of pre-trial litigation and trial preparation. Vick earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School and his B.A. from California State University, Northridge.


Erin McDaniel, Senior Counsel
Nashville, Health Care

Erin joins the Nashville office as a member of the Health Care practice group. Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, Erin was an Administrative Hearing Officer for the State of Tennessee in the Department of Human Services, Division of Appeals and Hearings. She presided over administrative appeal hearings pursuant to the Tennessee Administrative Procedures Act. Erin earned her J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law and her B.A. from the University of Tennessee.


Hoa Nguyen, Associate
Dallas, Environmental/Toxic Tort

Hoa joins the Dallas office as a member of the Environmental/Toxic Tort practice group. Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, Hoa was an associate at a local Dallas firm where she gained experience in all aspects of corporate litigation. She also served as a law clerk to the Hon. Mark J. Dinsmore of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. Hoa earned her J.D. from Texas A&M University School of Law and her B.A. from Texas A&M University.


Anthony Phillips, Senior Counsel
San Francisco, Commercial Litigation

Anthony joins the San Francisco office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. He represents businesses before courts and regulators including in complex cases involving contract disputes, regulatory compliance, fraud, unfair competition and other business torts. Anthony earned his J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law and his B.A. from the University of York.


Steven Rosen, Partner
Portland, Product & General Liability

Steven joins the Portland office as a member of the Product & General Liability practice group. He is recognized as a skilled trial attorney and at the request of clients, he has tried cases to juries and judges in Oregon, Washington, and California and argued matters in Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Idaho, and Alaska. He brings an engineering education and science background to cases and matters, which speeds understanding of technical issues. Steven earned his J.D. from Lewis and Clark Law School and his B.S. from the State University of New York at Buffalo.


Tony Salvatore, Associate
Phoenix, Commercial Litigation / Class Action / Construction / Product & General Liability

Tony joins the Phoenix office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. Tony earned his J.D. from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law and his B.A. from Arizona State University.


Sean Stokes, Associate
Portland, Employment Law / Commercial Litigation

Sean joins the Portland office as a member of the Employment Law and Commercial Litigation practice groups. Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, Sean maintained a successful civil trial practice. In 2018, He was recognized for securing one of the Top 20 Verdicts in Connecticut in Doe v. Darazs, and was named a “New Leader in the Law” by the Connecticut Law Tribune. Sean earned his J.D. from Western New England University School of Law and his B.A. from Colorado State University.

Seattle, Product & General Liability

Amy joins the Seattle office as a member of the Product & General Liability practice group. She has experience conducting research and engaging in regulatory and statutory analysis on complex issues, including employment law related issues such as wage determination and compliance issues. Amy earned her J.D. from Seattle University School of Law and her B.A. from Seattle University.
