Michael joins the Westchester office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. He handles all aspects of commercial litigation, including conducting initial investigations, drafting pleadings, preliminary and dispositive motions, court conferences, depositions, oral arguments, and settlements. His main focus has been in several areas of civil litigation including premises liability, motor vehicle, and labor law. Michael earned his J.D. from Pace University School of Law and his B.B.A. from Iona College.
Michael joins the St. Louis office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. He has over 20 years of experience as a commercial litigation, employment law, and construction attorney. He has provided effective counsel to clients regarding commercial contracts, employee policies, construction law, risk management, real estate matters, and other core business decisions and tactics. He negotiates and drafts complex agreements of various types including AIA contracts. Michael earned his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School and his B.A. from the University of Missouri – Kansas City.
Paul joins the Chicago office as a member of the Product & General Liability, Professional Liability Defense, and Commercial Litigation practice groups. He regularly defends accountants, lawyers, and various professional agents and brokers relative to purported malpractice events. He has represented clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to closely-held corporations in cases ranging from vehicular accidents, premises liability claims, and FELA suits to employment discrimination claims, property and cargo damage claims, and contract disputes. Paul earned his J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law and his B.A. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Lori joins the San Francisco office as a member of the Construction practice group. She has extensive experience in construction, personal injury, and premises liability litigation in multiple counties throughout the state. Her practice includes the representation of developers and general contractors in construction claims involving commercial and residential projects as well as the representation of corporations and individuals in personal injury actions, and the representation of municipalities in premises liability litigation. Lori earned her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law and her B.A. from California State University, Long Beach.
Nicholas joins the Los Angeles office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. His practice focuses on complex civil litigation, where he represents and advises individuals, businesses, non-profits, and entrepreneurs in resolving their disputes. Prior to entering private practice, Nicholas worked for the Los Angeles County Superior Court clerking for judges in the unlimited civil division. Nicholas earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles and his B.A. from The Ohio State University.
Christopher joins the San Francisco office as a member of the Insurance practice group. Prior to practicing law, Christopher worked for the United States Air Force where he was a Presidential Management Fellow. While in law school, he was an honors intern at the California Attorney General’s Public Rights Division, and spent a semester interning at the Department of Justice Antitrust Division in Washington D.C. Christopher earned his J.D. from Washington University in St Louis, School of Law and his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Kristen joins the San Diego office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. She represents businesses, financial institutions and individuals in business litigation matters involving claims for breach of contract, fraud, conversion, and unfair competition. She also defends clients against federal and state consumer claims including FDCPA/Rosenthal, TCPA, FCRA, CLRA, UCL, and others. Kristen earned her J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Virginia.
Jessica joins the San Francisco office as a member of the Insurance practice group. Her experience includes all aspects of litigation in state and federal courts including overall case strategy, discovery, and dispositive and non-dispositive motion practice. She also has extensive experience preparing coverage evaluations and in communicating with counsel retained by insureds to ensure that coverage determinations are made based upon all of the pertinent information. Jessica earned her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.
Timur joins the New York office as a member of the Environmental/Toxic Tort practice group. Prior to joining the firm, Timur worked as a commercial litigation associate at a local law firm in Long Island, where he represented clients in wide range of litigation matters involving contractual disputes, construction litigation, ERISA, environmental litigation (CERCLA), and family law. Additionally, he attended bankruptcy conferences, advised clients about their options in Chapter 11 bankruptcy, and managed the firm’s Chapter 11 caseload. Timur earned his J.D. from Emory University School of Law and his B.A. from Boston University.
Alison joins the San Diego office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. Alison earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and her B.B.A. from the University of San Diego.
Yan joins the San Diego office as a member of the Intellectual Property and Commercial Litigation practice groups. Yan earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and her B.E. from Beijing Forestry University.
Colin joins the Dummerston office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. His practice is focused in real estate transactions, property disputes, landlord-tenant, matrimonial law, C.J.A. counsel and serious criminal matters. Colin earned his J.D. from Vermont Law School and his B.A. from Hunter College.
Bimali joins the San Diego office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. Her practice focuses in employment law, including FEHA claims and Wage and Hour claims. She also handles a large volume of collection matters, including judgment debtor exams and other collection avenues. With a multidisciplinary skillset, Bimali provides counsel to businesses regarding employment-related issues and compliance with California employment laws. Bimali earned her J.D. from Western State University, College of Law and her B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Heather-Ann joins the Sacramento office as a member of the Employment Law and Commercial Litigation practice groups. She has experience handling complex civil litigation matters focused on personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, product liability and governmental tort liability. Further, she has experience representing employees and employers in labor matters. Heather-Ann has experience in elder care litigation and representation of licensed and non-licensed care providers. Heather-Ann earned her J.D. from California Western School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Redlands.
