Nabila joins the Atlanta office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. She represents private companies and organizations in a wide variety of employment and labor union matters, including Title VII workplace discrimination, wage and hour disputes, ADA claims, EEOC matters, and various other federal and state law claims. Nabila earned her J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law and her B.S. from the University of Texas at Austin.
Alessandra joins the Dallas office as a member of the Environmental/Toxic Tort practice group. She focuses on defending corporations and premises owners in a variety of product liability, toxic tort, and environmental litigation matters involving exposure to asbestos, talcum powder, and various chemicals. Alessandra earned her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh.
David joins the New York office as a member of the Product & General Liability practice group. His practice focuses on defending domestic and foreign manufacturers and distributors in civil litigation in federal and state courts throughout the United States. He has extensive experience handling complex litigation in the areas of product liability, medical malpractice and criminal litigation. David earned his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law and his B.A. from Tufts University.
Tanya joins the New York office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. She has extensive experience litigating management-side employment matters. This includes federal and state anti-discrimination laws, state and local wage and hour, and class and collective actions. Tanya has successfully tried cases in both state and federal court and has significant experience litigating race, gender, age, disability, and retaliation actions. Tanya earned her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and her B.A. from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, CUNY.
Michael joins the San Diego office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, Michael was an associate attorney at a San Diego firm where his practice focused on business and commercial real estate related disputes. Michael earned his J.D. from California Western School of Law and his B.A. from California State University San Marcos.
Steven joins the Atlanta office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, Mr. Flynn practiced at a large regional firm where his practice focused on real estate and financial services litigation involving claims of wrongful foreclosure, breach of contract, title clearance issues, and violations of various federal statutes such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA). Steven earned his J.D. from Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Georgia.
Stephanie joins the Chicago office as a member of the Commercial Litigation, Employment Law, and Environmental/Toxic Tort practice groups. She has successfully litigated cases on behalf of her clients before administrative agencies, and in state and federal courts. She also regularly defends businesses of all sizes in litigation stemming from contract disputes, tort liability claims, and consumer credit issues. Stephanie earned her J.D. from The John Marshall Law School and her B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Anna joins the Williamsburg office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. She has experience representing clients in private and commercial disputes and franchise matters. Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, Anna was Corporate Counsel at a public franchise company. In that position, she provided operational advice and handled diverse legal issues including all phases of litigation, transactional and regulatory matters. She also represented the company in compliance with state and federal franchise laws and disclosure requirements. Anna earned her J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law and her B.A. from Virginia Tech.
James joins the St. Louis office as a member of the Construction, Professional Liability, and Insurance practice groups. He is an experienced litigator who has successfully defended individuals and businesses against a wide array of liability claims, including construction defect, insurance coverage, professional liability, products liability, consumer rights defense, employment, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and maritime/admiralty. He also has considerable transactional experience, and regularly counsels employers and business clients regarding legal considerations and trends in the law. James earned his J.D. from the University of Alabama and his B.A. from Spring Hill College.
Yara joins the Chicago office as a member of the Environmental/Toxic Tort practice group. She is active in all phases of litigation, including investigating and evaluating cases, discovery, motion practice, conducting fact and expert depositions and trial preparation. Anna earned her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law and her B.A. from St. Joseph’s College.
Sarah joins the Sacramento office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. She regularly defends and counsels employers in all phases of employment litigation including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, and alleged wage and hour violations. In addition, Sarah defends companies against class actions with an emphasis on consumer fraud, breach of contract, and unfair business practices. Sarah earned her J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law and her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Mahna joins the Las Vegas office as a member of the Commercial Litigation and Employment Law practice groups. She represents and advises employers in all areas of labor and employment litigation including wage and hour claims, personnel grievances, wrongful termination claims, discrimination claims, FMLA, and FLSA issues. She also handles discrimination charges filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and Nevada Equal Rights Commission. Mahna earned her J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law and her B.A. from California State University, Northridge.
Daniel joins the San Diego office as a member of the Environmental/Toxic Tort practice group. His practice focuses on advocating on behalf of companies and individuals in defense of product liability, premises liability, environmental, and toxic tort claims. He has experience litigating securities fraud class actions and representing technology companies as in-house counsel. Daniel earned his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Tej joins the Houston office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. He has experience representing employers and insurance carriers in all aspects of worker’s compensation defense litigation. Tej earned his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and his B.S. from Texas A&M University.
Bradley joins the San Francisco office as a member of the Product & General Liability practice group. He has in-depth experience advising automotive manufacturers on product liability and warranty defense, including warranty and product defect claims and related litigation. He has also provided counsel on matters involving negligence, strict liability, subrogation cases, and recalls. Bradley earned his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and his B.A. from Northwood University.
Jean joins the Louisville office as a member of the Construction practice group. Jean began working in the construction industry over fifteen years ago, serving as an intern for a crane manufacturer in her native South Carolina. Jean later worked as a civil engineer on numerous projects throughout the public and private sectors for a multinational design and construction firm. Her work as a civil engineer, combined with her practice in construction law and civil litigation, have provided her with invaluable experience in the management and design aspects of large scale construction, as well as the legal issues that affect these projects. She draws upon this experience and her passion for the industry to zealously represent contractors, suppliers, and other building professionals in all phases of project construction, from contract formation through arbitration and litigation. Jean earned her J.D. from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law and her B.E. from Vanderbilt University.
Lauren joins the Maine office as a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. She has experience representing national and multinational creditors in complex litigation actions including class action lawsuits, contested foreclosures, bankruptcy adversary proceedings, quiet title actions, constructive eviction actions and cases with alleged violations of local, state and federal lending and consumer protection statutes and regulations. Lauren earned her J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law and her B.A. from Boston University.
Brianne joins the St. Louis office as a member of the Environmental/Toxic Tort practice group. She focuses her practice on civil litigation concerning toxic tort and environmental law, employment law, product liability, and trucking and automotive liability. Brianne has comprehensive experience handling all stages of litigation including drafting pleadings, discovery documents, motions, and appellate briefs; conducting and defending depositions; arguing motions; and engaging in settlement negotiations. She defends clients in a number of state and federal courts. Brianne earned her J.D. from Washington University School of Law and her B.A. from Illinois State University.
Kimberly joins the Los Angeles office as a member of the Employment Law practice group. defends companies of all sizes and industries in wage and hour, class action, discrimination, retaliation, whistleblower, and wrongful termination matters. She is experienced in all aspects of litigation and represents clients in both state and federal court. She also performs policy audits and provides advice and counsel to management on employment-related matters. Kimberly earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles and her B.S. from the University of California, Irvine.
