Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani welcomes Matthew P. Dixon as a partner in the Insurance practice group in the firm's Chicago office. Dixon was previously with Querrey & Harrow, Ltd. in the firm's Chicago office. He grew up and attended college in Iowa and will be returning there in January 2020 to lead the firm’s Des Moines, Iowa office.

Dixon is a litigator and trial attorney with experience representing clients in state and federal courts as well as before administrative agencies. His experience includes cases involving complex, high exposure personal injury and torts, civil rights and discrimination, wrongful death, and insurance defense. He is also experienced in working with clients on matters concerning high profile and sensitive internal investigations.
He has tried multiple cases to verdict all with favorable results and has worked through mediation and negotiation to achieve positive results for clients in many more. Whether a matter calls for significant litigation or is best suited for early resolution, Dixon works with his clients to develop efficient, client-focused strategies to deliver the best possible outcome.
Dixon is admitted in Illinois, Iowa, and the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Illinois, Northern District of Iowa, and Southern District of Iowa. He earned his law degree from The John Marshall Law School and his undergraduate degree from The University of Iowa.
