Recent successes include:

  • Major trial wins in national talc ovarian cancer litigation.
  • Obtained a class action defense verdict on behalf of a multinational clothing corporation in a case facing more than $1 billion of exposure and a $288 million demand. The plaintiffs alleged that the firm's client violated the Song-Beverly Credit Card Act by asking customers to provide their ZIP codes when making a purchase in their California stores.
  • Obtained a defense verdict in a federal jury trial alleging wrongful termination of nine multi-state distribution contracts in which the plaintiff was claiming $76 million in lost profits as well as punitive damages.
  • Obtained a favorable outcome on behalf of a strawberry commission merchant in a 10 week toxic tort trial.  The plaintiff was born with multiple physical and mental birth defects allegedly resulting from his mother’s exposure to pesticides while working in strawberry fields during her pregnancy.
  • Obtained a defense verdict on behalf of a large auto dealership in a month-long trial.  This wrongful termination case involved allegations of whistleblower retaliation and race discrimination.
  • Obtained multiple defense verdicts on behalf of firm client, the world's foremost wheel-service manufacturer, in mesothelioma cases.
