On Jan. 9, Design Milk, an online magazine dedicated to modern design, published an article by Gordon & Rees attorneys Justin Aida, Rich Sybert, and Jordan Derringer.
In the article, titled “Six Things Every Designer Should Know About Copyright,” the authors discuss the protection of a designer’s work, when copyright registration is required, what types of work may receive design patent protection, notifying others of copyrights, copyright infringement and what to do when someone has “copied” work.
