Miami Partner David Gersten Presents Three-Day Course on Decision Making from the Bench in San Diego

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani partner and former judge David Gersten will present a three-day course titled "Decision Making" in San Diego, California on August 6-9, 2018. Gersten will be joined in teaching the course by two California Administrative Law Judges: Judge Susan Formaker and Judge John Larsen. The course will be taught through interactive lecture, hypothetical case study and class discussion.

During this course, Gersten and his team will familiarize students with the factors that affect the judicial decision-making process and assist students in the analysis of their own thinking and style. They will address the psychology of decision making, how personality type may influence decision making, ethical considerations that may impact decision making and how appellate courts review decisions, and practical suggestions to aid in making decisions from the bench.

The course part is sponsored by The National Judicial College and is part of a series of courses held at locations across the country. To register or for more information on this course and other courses that David Gersten will be teaching, please click here.
