Biography

Ali Azemoon is an Associate with GRSM working in Southern California. He is a member of the Product & General Liability, Automotive Litigation & Autonomous Vehicles, and Commercial Litigation practice groups. Ali's practice consists of automotive manufacturers' and retailers' defense in consumer warranty litigation, personal injury, and product liability claims. He regularly defends claims under the Federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, California's Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, and California's Consumer Legal Remedies Act. In his defense of his manufacturer clients, Ali evaluates prelitigation claims to analyze liability and assess early exit strategies where appropriate and actively litigates cases from responding to complaints, engaging in discovery, and preparing cases for trial.

Prior to joining GRSM, Ali was at the largest pro bono public interest law firm globally. While there, his practice included assisting vulnerable clients who were defrauded out of their home, personal property, or life savings or were facing immediate financial pressures due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He has also worked for a boutique law firm representing Fortune 500 insurance companies. Ali also gained experience in liability insurance coverage and litigation under automobile, personal lines, and commercial lines.

During law school, Ali gained invaluable experience at his law school's immigration clinic. His clinic experience allowed him to appear in defense of a client seeking asylum before the United States Department of Justice's Executive Office for Immigration Review. He also earned a teaching fellowship based on his remarkable academic achievements in law school, where he aided and assisted in instructing first-year law students in Contract Law.
