Jon Borderud is a Partner in the San Diego office of GRSM.
Jon has extensive experience with labor and employment litigation in state and federal courts, including acting as lead or co-lead counsel at trial. He handles all aspects of written discovery, law and motion, trial preparation, and appellate work. He also is experienced in negotiating and drafting employment agreements, settlement agreements, severance agreements, and employee handbooks.
Jon has handled a variety of other civil matters, including breach of contract, misrepresentation, false advertising, unfair competition, trademark and copyright infringement, partnership disputes, and other business litigation.
Prior to joining GRSM, Jon acted as outside litigation counsel for an employment law firm. He routinely advised management on a variety of employment related litigation issues and compliance matters under state and federal law and handling the firm’s litigation with former clients and employees in all forums.
