Biography

Kim Faden McClendon is Of Counsel in the Portland office of GRSM and is a member of the commercial litigation practice group. Prior to joining GRSM, Kim maintained a litigation practice where she was a core member of courtroom trial teams that litigated dozens of cases to jury verdict in state and federal court. She has been responsible for case strategy and litigation from pre-filing intake through trial and appeal. Her litigation practice has spanned a wide variety of practice areas, including products liability, professional liability, employment, medical device, personal injury, and commercial litigation. She also has experience providing employment law advice and counsel to clients. She is a recognized expert in employment law, is a SHRM, Senior Certified Professional, and was a co-author of the Open Compliance and Ethics Group compliance framework and member of the executive committee for employment law. 

Kim’s litigation practice is informed by her background in business and work in federal district courts. She was Senior Vice President at a risk and compliance management technology company and also served as General Counsel at a publishing company. She has also been a federal judicial law clerk to four judges in United States District Courts in Nebraska and Oregon.

Kim grew up in Nebraska, and she has lived in Oregon since 1998.
