Biography

Megan P. Keane serves as Senior Counsel in the Louisville office. Megan has been practicing law in Kentucky and Indiana for over 10 years. She has a proven track record of successful litigation in all areas of complex litigation including business, commercial, construction, and general and professional liability. Megan also advises clients at all stages during contract negotiations. 

Megan has participated in numerous civil lawsuits, arbitrations, and appeals. These complex business disputes include representation of clients in contract actions, non-payment and debt collection actions, construction matters, real property and lease disputes, interference with contracts or business relationships, corporate dissolution, and non-competition agreements. Megan has also represented businesses, financial institutions, and real estate investors in complicated foreclosure matters, lien priority disputes, bankruptcy adversarial proceedings and preference actions as well as defending financial institutions in a variety of consumer protection matters. Megan’s litigation background also includes defending businesses in personal injury, general liability, as well as medical and professional liability matters. Over the course of her career, she has developed a broad skillset across general, business, and complex commercial litigation.

Outside of the courtroom, Megan has extensive involvement in professional and bar-related activities including serving as the Chair of the Kentucky Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, the Young Lawyer Officer to the Kentucky Bar Association Board of Governors, and as a member of American Bar Association House of Delegates. She also serves as a board member on various local non-profit organizations.
