Partner Brandon Saxon Named as a Winner in the San Diego Business Journal’s 2021 Leaders in Law

The San Diego Business Journal has named Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani San Diego partner Brandon Saxon as a winner of the 2021 Leaders in Law award. The annual Leaders in Law Awards honors only 20 of San Diego's top lawyers and in-house general counsel attorneys. Saxon was chosen as the winner of the Labor & Employment category from over 100 finalists with impressive accomplishments and extensive community involvement.

Saxon serves as co-chair of the National Employment practice group for Gordon & Rees. His practice focuses on both litigation in heavily regulated matters and providing advice and counsel to various companies, organizations and nonprofits on ensuring policies and procedures are in place to avoid litigation in the first place. This includes significant changes in the age of COVID-19 including advising clients on the ever-changing regulatory landscape for companies and employers.

He has litigated hundreds of matters to verdict and successful resolution in both state and federal courts, and has significant experience in advising companies on best practices. In the last 18 months, he has spent significant time advising companies and employers on the changing landscape due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I am honored and humbled to receive this award,” Saxon said. “It is a privilege to be a part of the San Diego legal community, and I certainly wouldn’t be where I am at without the support of my firm and amazing colleagues who have made our successes possible.”

All nominations were evaluated by local business leaders who served as judges. The winners were selected based on their professional accomplishments, community service and investment in their firm. There were over 100 finalists with impressive accomplishments and extensive community involvement.
