Gordon & Rees San Francisco Partner Michael Bruno Selected to the American Board of Trial Advocates

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani San Francisco Partner Michael Bruno has been selected for membership in the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates ("ABOTA"). Membership is extended by invitation only to experienced trial lawyers who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility and collegiality.

“Michael has established himself as one of the preeminent employment trial lawyers in California.  His ability to relate instantly to jurors and present a case they both understand, and believe, is a unique skill that separates him from other lawyers," said Adam Sugarman, Managing Partner of the Bay Area offices of Gordon & Rees.

The American Board of Trial Advocates is a national association of more than 6,000 experienced trial lawyers and judges dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial right provided by the Seventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Since 1958, ABOTA has worked to uphold the jury system and to elevate the standards of integrity, civility and professionalism in the legal profession. Its aim is to aid in further education and training of trial lawyers and to provide a forum for discussion through which trial lawyers can have an active voice. It seeks attorneys who display skill, civility and integrity, to help younger attorneys achieve, and to educate the public about the vital importance of the right to a trial by jury.

"Over the years I have had the pleasure of watching Mike Bruno grow from his beginnings as a Summer Associate to become one of the great trial lawyers at Gordon & Rees," said Mike Lucey, Former Firmwide Managing Partner and fellow ABOTA Member. "His induction into ABOTA is a well-deserved and hard earned honor."
