Oakland Partner Mike Laurenson to Serve on Faculty of ABOTA Masters in Trial Series

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Oakland Partner Mike Laurenson will serve on the faculty and present “Closing Arguments: Employment Discrimination,” for the American Board of Trial Advocates ("ABOTA") Masters in Trial Series, Wednesday, October 27 at 11:30—2:30 Pacific.

The ABOTA Masters in Trial is a four-part series involving live presentations of key parts of a jury trial—jury selection, opening statements, expert examinations, and closing arguments. A number of the Bay Area’s most prominent trial lawyers will serve on the faculty.

Laurenson is the Leader of Gordon & Rees' Northern California Trial Practice Group and a member of the firm’s National Trial Practice Group. He was selected by the Daily Journal as one of the Top 75 Labor & Employment attorneys in California. The Daily Journal also selected unanimous defense verdicts that he received in 2014 and 2015 as Top 10 Defense Verdicts in California for those years.

ABOTA is a national association of more than 6,000 experienced trial lawyers and judges dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial right provided by the Seventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
