Chicago Partner Laura E. Knittle to Present at Annual Illinois Alliance of Administrators in Special Education

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Chicago Partner Laura E. Knittle will present "Inclusive Practices: All Means All" for the Illinois Alliance of Administrators in Special Education ("IAASE") 2023 Fall Conference in Tinley Park, Illinois on October 19, 2023.

Ms. Knittle will co-present with Joanna Ford, the Assistant Superintendent for Student Services at Deerfield School District 109. This presentation will focus on inclusive practices for students with disabilities and will provide information to school administrators on how to best serve students with disabilities. 

Ms. Knittle is Co-Chair of the firm's Education Law practice group. She represents K-12 school districts in all areas of education law. A majority of her practice is dedicated to counseling boards of education and their administrations on student matters, including issues involving the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act, alleged violations of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, student discipline, student and employee investigations, Office for Civil Rights investigations, and confidentiality and student records.

The IAASE is a non-profit organization that supports special education administrators throughout the state of Illinois.
