This article covers impacts of the recent EPA regulatory developments for PFAS litigation including the designation of PFOA and PFOS as hazardous substances under CERCLA, the enforcement of a national drinking water standard, and shares insights on future litigation. 

Mr. Ledger is a Partner in the Los Angeles office and Co-Chair of the national Environmental/Toxic Tort practice group. He serves as lead counsel in complex, multi-party environmental and toxic tort litigation under CERCLA, Clean Water Act/RCRA, and common law nuisance/trespass concerning contaminated soil, and surface and groundwater. His cases have included some of the most complex sites in California and several other states.

Mr. Ege is the Co-Managing Partner of the Austin office and has been a litigator and trial lawyer for over 20 years, representing major corporations as national trial counsel or national coordinating counsel. He has defended hundreds of lawsuits for clients engaged in product liability, insurance, commercial, real estate, franchise, mass tort, and employment disputes and handles each according to its unique challenges.
