Roland J. De Monte Joins Gordon & Rees as Partner in Employment Law and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, the nation's first and only law firm with offices in all 50 states, welcomes Roland J. De Monte as a Partner in the Cleveland office of Gordon & Rees. He joins the Employment Law and Commercial Litigation practice groups.

Mr. De Monte represents employers before state and federal courts in cases involving claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, FMLA, wage and hour, and failure to accommodate disabilities. He also works with employers to navigate investigations by government agencies and provides counseling, advice and training to companies regarding best practices to minimize liability.

Mr. De Monte serves on the boards of non-profits and civic institutions in Northeast Ohio. He was recognized by Super Lawyers® as a "Rising Star" from 2014-2016 and again in 2021. 

He is admitted to practice in Ohio, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit. He earned his law degree from the University of Akron School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Mount Union College.
