Lateral Partner Recruiting
Sean C. Scully is the National Director of Recruiting for Gordon & Rees. Sean is based in San Diego and works out of the firm’s 17 national offices where he oversees the lateral partner recruiting programs for the firm. Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, Sean worked as an international marketing, sales and brand consultant for the resort and luxury club industry. He was Managing Director of Global Operations for NAGROM Corporation, an international apparel company and has also worked as a National Key Account Manager for General Electric. He speaks fluent Spanish and Norwegian with basic working Chinese and Japanese, and was a translator for Nancy Kerrigan and Bob Costas at their respective Olympics in Lillehammer and Barcelona.
Sean graduated summa cum laude from Ohio University International Relations in the honors program and was a Rhodes Scholar Finalist. He attended graduate school at the University of Trondheim, Norway, in international economics and finished at the Contemporary History Institute under John Gaddis at Ohio. He then attended Pepperdine University for his MBA prior to leaving for NAGROM Corporation. In his spare time, Sean enjoys traveling to and writing about Third World countries, fly fishing, ocean swimming, and triathlons - where he is the defending champion of the Solana Beach competition in his division.
